Grandson's Quilt

I have been busy lately as my new little grandson has finally arrived, so very happy and he is gorgeous. Anyway this is a quilt I have made him, it looks a little bit crooked as I didn't realise when I bought it wasn't cut straight, now I know why the panel was in the throw out basket, anyway I made it to the best I could without loosing any of the monkey or the giraffe.

New Books

All my books have finally come that my wonderful hubby got for me for christmas, I got Creative Cloth Doll Making and Creative Cloth Doll Faces by Patti Medaris Culea and Anatomy of a Doll: the fabric Sculptor's Handbook and Designing the Doll: from Concept to Construction by Susan Oroyan.

I'm so happy getting these books, I know I'm going to learn so much out of them, they are full of so much information, advice, detailed instructions and great pictures, I just love them.

Okay here goes

1. When having a meal if there is more than one different sauce put out and I can't decide on which one to have, I will have them all.

2. I love dunking toast and vegemite into my cup of milo, have done ever since I was a kid.

3. I wont drive in the cities, I've never had to when we go there so I don't.

4. When we go out it never fails I have to run back inside to go to the toilet, even if we are only going to be 5 mins.

5. When I send mail I have to check address half a dozen times to make sure I have them right.

6. I can't put gas into our car, I can petrol but not gas so my dear hubby has to fill the car up all the time.

Woo Hoo! I just noticed that my counter has hit over 1,000, thanks to everyone who has visited my blog.

I will be updating my blog more regularly from now on as I have more time on my hands.

In The Mail

I recieved in the mail before christmas a wonderful package from cbm, had great doll patterns, magazines and other wonderful things in it, can't wait to make some of the dolls up, now christmas is over I will have the time. thankyou so much for it all.

My Mums Bag

I did get the bag finished for my mum for her chrissy pressie, I call it the curse bag, while i was making it my sewing machine broke down so my wonderful hubby let me get a new one, just a basic one but good to have for a spare anyway starting sewing again and whats goes first but the light in the new machine then the bobbin compartment fell apart, I didn't realise it was held in by clips, but I finally got it finished wrapped up and ready to take to my daughters to give to my mum but of course we forgot it. I couldn't believe the things that went wrong with this bag so I said it was cursed..lol..

We did go home and get it and took it back around to my mum, thankfully she really did like it and I was happy to see it out of my place :-)
