I won a prize

In a save water competition on the net, I was rapped, won $60.00 worth of ecologic cleaning products, there was floor cleaner, wool wash, dish wash , laundry wash and multi purpose spray so I think I did pretty good, only bummer thing about it is now is that means I should do some cleaning ;-)

Teddy Bears for the Grandsons

I made these Teddies for my grandsons, unfortunately I'm not the best at sewing noses but the grandsons loved them and I believe they sleep with them to, so I'm happy.

My oldest grandson who is 6 took his to school for show and tell, he was pretty stoked about his one to as they were here when I was making it, so he got to help stuff his one which is the one with the blue ribbon, so that teddy is just a bit more special for him.

What I have made.

Well I just lurveee my embroidery machine, must say I'm actually very hooked anyway here are a few things I made up for easter pressies,

the bunny baskets I did one up for each of my daughters and one for my sister, btw the pic was taken with it upside down so I just flipped it up the right way. The flower baskets for the two mums and dh's grandma and seeing we were in Sydney for easter, I did up a towel set for each of the dh's sisters in different colours and of course different names but with all the same design and the mum set I did for each mum only in different colours.

Easter Swap

We had an easter swap at crafty mamas and this is a picture of what I received off my swap partner Kylie, just loved everything I got, thank you so much Kylie :-)

Finally back

Wow! hasn't time gone by, hope everyone had a great easter and easter bunny was good to them, my computer decided to die so my dh has fixed up a spare computer for me to use thank god except on my old one I had heaps of pics to put on here, hopefully soon he will be able to put my hard drive in this one and get everything back.

My dh gave me a fantastic surprises, a Janome 300e machine, I just love it, I didn't realise how much you could do on an embroidery machine and am well and truly hooked, just can't get over he was able to keep it so quiet and not let me know but I am so glad he did, it is one surprise I won't forget. :-)

Anyway as soon as everything is fixed up I will post pics of what I've been up to.

CM Christmas Swap

I had forgotten to put pics of what I did my swap partner in the christmas swap we had at crafty mamas, sorry about the pics being so dark, I was in such a hurry taking them I didn't stop to check how they turned out.



I did a beaded key chain, wooden bead necklace and a crystal bead window ornament

2 place mats

a bag, pin cushion, crocheted top tea towel, face washer, hand towel and soap and a sewing organizer folder has pockets inside to keep needles, pins, tape measure and things.

My partner liked everything so that was good :-)

Christmas pressies

Gosh this year already seems to be going quick, nearly at the end of Jan already, I really haven't been on the computer much, I have been trying to organize my time better so things will get done.
I have started a new craft passion which is taking up a lot of my time, when I get a bit better I'll show what I've been up to.

Anyways I thought I would put a few pics up of some of the things I made for chrissy pressies,



Seeing my sister is trying to write a book I thought I would make her a quilted folder so she could put her thoughts down in or what ever she likes, I also put in some pockets and a place to hold a pen, also covered a basket that I filled with packets of beads as she is also into beading.






This is meant to be a wattle nymph, a pattern by the very talented Ann Clemens, she really didn't turn out a lot like how she should of, sorta more like a 70's flower child nymph..lol..but I had great fun in making her, she was a pressie for my sister in law, actually was meant to be for her birthday but at least she got there for christmas..lol




I do have more pics to share just have to go through and find them all, hopefully over the next couple of days, hope all the aussies have had a great Australia weekend. :-)
