Jester Doll

My jester doll is finally finished, I'm pretty happy with him but I need to try and find him an instrument or something to hold. He is made from a pattern by Priscilla McDonald. I stll need a lot more practise with making these dolls especially with doing their faces, this one looks like he is a bit sleepy...lol but I'm really enjoying making them though.

Wow Lisa..that looks very involved. You are SO very clever!!:) What material do you use for the face? And how long did he take you to complete? **Hugs**

Hi Vi, thankyou so much for your comment :-)
I just used skin/flesh coloured homespun cotton material for his face, its a little bit pinky toned, he took me about a couple weeks to make but I only have time to put an hour or so into the craft work during the day(usually when Jacob has his arvo sleep)so if you have more time he really wouldn't take that long.
